Stage 2 In Effect 8/24/26

STAGE 2 NOW IN EFFECT. Well folks, we went two whole summers without having to escalate watering restrictions, and we were almost through a third.  Currently three of our four Stage 2 triggers have been met, and the fourth is not far off.  We’ve been pumping well over 5 million gallons per day (MGD) for the last week or so.  You may remember from years past that the Wellborn side of the system starts to struggle once we get over 5 MGD.

Stage 2 allows for 2 watering days per week.  Addresses ending in 1,4,6,7 water Mon & Thu.  Addresses ending in 2,5,8 water Tues & Fri.  Addresses ending in 0,3,9 water Wed & Sat.  Sunday night/Monday morning is a recovery day to get the tanks full.
