2025 Rate Adjustment

The Wellborn SUD Board of Directors would like to invite the public to join them at their regular board meeting on July 15, 2025 at 6:00 PM. As indicated at the April 26th Town Hall meeting and in previous communications, an adjustment in the water rates is necessary to fund our crucial water supply project. This project is an investment in our local water infrastructure that will:

Solve current production capacity issues, and provide supply expandability to accommodate the high level of growth that is planned for the area.

Provide water-independence from neighboring entities - heavily reducing production costs and increasing reliability and long-term sustainability.

Secure our community's share of local groundwater before it is transported to other areas or reserved for institutional use.
The Board of Directors plans a first reading and discussion of the proposed rate adjustment at the meeting on July 15, will receive public comment during the following month, and then discuss and possibly act on the adjustment in the August 2025 regular meeting.
